I can't believe it's already been a week since Channing's bachelorette party. This week has been super crazy! Channing and Austin's wedding was super cute and totally them. They had
picked music that they really loved and that made everything really special. Austin's groom's cake had a Dallas Mavericks theme complete with a dancing Dirk Nowitzki doll. Probably my favorite thing about the wedding was when Austin finally asked my dad if he could marry Channing. Backstory... Austin proposed to Channing in front of my parents and grandparents but never thought to ask my dad (he said his brother didn't ask his father in law, so he didn't know to). Since that day in October, a year and a half ago, Austin has never lived that down. Every chance my family gets to remind Austin of his mistake, it's taken. Back to the wedding... My dad walked Channing down the aisle and before the minister asked my dad, "Who gives this woman?" He said, "We have some unfinished business that needs to be taken care of." That's when Austin got down on one knee and asked my dad if he could marry Channing. We were totally caught off guard and I immediately began to cry (not surprised). It was a really great idea on Austin's part. Blake actualy knew about it and didn't tell me. It was probably a wise choice as he knows that I am a terrible at keeping secrets. :-) Anyway. The wedding was great. After the wedding we all headed to my parents house before going out to eat at Cousin's Barbeque (my fav!). I had been at my parents house less than 15 minutes when I began to sneeze. Then my eyes started itching. Then I got congested. Then I started sneezing even more. My parents have a cat, a new addition in the past year, and I'm alleric... not to all cats, just some. But I am apparently very allergic to KC (Kitty on Crack - that is seriously her name). My mom gave me two allery pills that turned out to be Benadryll. I was pretty dead for the rest of the night. Halfway through dinner I was pretty much a gone-er. I fell asleep in the car on the way home, at my parents house, on the car on the way back to Bevin and John's, and then in their driveway for an hour or so. Blake and I got back to Bevin and John's before they did and Blake wouldn't call Bevin and ask where the hidden key was, so... we both slept in the car for an hour. My mom felt really bad for drugging me.
That was probably more than you asked for. Oh well. It's almost the weekend! Yay!
