About 3 weeks ago Blake and I drove to Austin, TX for Jen and Hayden's Wedding. It was a long trip but well worth the 24+ hours we spent in the car that weekend. Elijah , Janine and baby Micah were nice enough to share their house and bedrooms with Blake, Kenli, and me. We went to the rehearsal dinner and caught up with friends I hadn't seen in almost a year. Saturday morning Blake and I woke up and went to Round Rock Donuts. (We are seriously lacking good donut places in Nashville) Blake and I got a dozen donuts, 1 kolache (sp?), and a cup of coffee for only $7! It would have cost twice that here... Oh well! We went to the Texas Capitol Building and gave ourselves a tour Saturday before the wedding. I hadn't been there since elementary school so it was nice to go back. Saturday we went to the wedding where Blake was in charge of the music. We witnessed a beautiful wedding, ate great Mexican food, listened to a Mariachi Band and danced for what seemed like hours. It was so fun and the location was BEAUTIFUL. Sunday we drove up through Fort Worth and spent Father's Day with my family, which was really fun. Needless to say the weekend was a blast! I don't have time to blog about Hunter and Leslie's wedding so I will just leave you with their pictures!Monday, July 07, 2008

love the new look and the pictures. it was painful to see you at jen & hayden's wedding wishing that i was there! buummmmer.
glad you're doing good. i need to hear your voice! be expecting a phone call soon.
Random, but I heard Blake on NPR today and just cracked up. He is so good and I could just imagine the funny faces he was making as he spoke so clearly about economics. I was so proud and said out loud in my car (to myself), "I know that guy."
Haha! The way you worded it makes it sound like you two bought twelve dozen donuts. As in, 144 donuts. You can never have enough donuts though, so if you bought 144donuts more power to you. Oh, how I love donuts. Don't forget to send me your email address so I can add you to my blog reader list.
thanks for the fun post about the wedding! i was so glad to hear you guys enjoyed your long road trip. we will never forget what you guys did to be here for us. and then what you did for us when you were here. we are so blessed beyond belief to have such self sacrificing friends. thanks friends! send me your photos! we loved seeing them!
